I hear the haunting strains of the shakuhachi in a bamboo grove as I read this haiku, punctuated by the sound of plaster hitting the pavement in slow motion and the whispery crackling of paint, which is how I imagine the landscape of my own face in magnification. Brilliance in art, you guys.

Great photos. I often post pictures I've taken of old buildings on my blog, fearing I'm the only person who sees beauty in their decay. Glad I'm not alone.
